ReneSola has entered into a letter of intent with the Yancheng city government, Jiangsu province, to develop a 500 megawatt on-grid solar power generation project.

Colexon Installs 4.64MW Photovoltaic System in Brandenburg
For the construction of the system 64,000 modules have been installed on a previously un-used roof-top area of 193,000 m2 which is equivalent to the size of more than 10 soccer fields. Due to costs and efficiency, 10,000 of the total 64,000 solar modules to be installed were lifted to the roof by helicopter.

Government Plans to Develop 60 solar Cities
The New Delhi government said that it was planning to develop ‘Solar Cities’ to reduce around 10 per cent usage of conventional energy sources through renewable energy installations and energy efficiency.
